Breed Size, Lifespan, & Maintenance

If you're looking for a miniature Boston Terrier, then the Bo-chi mixed breed is the perfect fit. Teacup Boston Terriers especially ones that were bred to have the Dwarfism gene are questionable by nature as it can inflict pain in the breed so it's ten times better to get a mixed breed instead.
The Bo-chi's average weight is 10 - 15 pounds, a far cry from the usual 20-25 pounds Boston Terrier size. They also have an average height of 9-17 inches and a lifespan of 15 years or more! Because the Boston Terrier and Chihuahua by nature have short dog coats, the Bo-chi is also low maintenance in the grooming department. They won't shed a lot and can be easily washed.
Since they are small dogs, they won't require a lot of food as well so you can definitely save up because of this and might even buy them toys instead! Temperament

Health Conditions

The Boston Terrier for example is notable for its Brachycephalic head that is characterized as a "flat-face". This is because of its inheritance and sometimes this condition creates respiratory problems for them. So when they are mixed with the Chihuahua, this characteristic is usually eliminated and erases the possibility of Brachycephalic syndrome.
Other conditions that the Bo-chi may have are patellar luxation, allergies, eye problems, and heart problems. However, this mixed breed is generally healthy and don't experience most of these health conditions in their lifetime.
